A couple of years ago I was at a carboot and I bought the most amazing screen printed image. At the time I didn’t know anything about the name that was scribbled on the bottom but it oozed 70’s appeal so I had to have it. The owner told me he had brought it whilst living in Florida and it had had pride of place in his living room for 20 years.

When I got home I thought I’d check out what google had to say about the name ‘Marushka’ and immediately found a wealth of gorgeous images, particularly in this Marushka Flickr Group – The images below come from this group.

Marüshka was founded in 1972. Based in  Western Michigan they made their name hand-printing decorative canvases. I received an email a few months back about a company who are now reprinting many of their iconic canvases, based in US – Study Hall. I might buy the bulletin board for my new office..
